This month, GBI held a special Contract Research Organization (CRO) panel discussion featuring leaders from China’s CRO industry. The CRO panel members have a wide range of expertise from pre-clinical services to phase IV trials, and a diverse set of backgrounds with experience in MNC pharmas, biotechs, research institutes, and healthcare startups to name a few. GBI sat down with Drs. Gang Jin, Ying Luo, Xuemei Song, Ya Fei Zhang, Chun-Lin Chen, and Xuehai Tan to get their insights and thoughts including the role of China as a CRO hub, the current challenges in the industry, and advice for scientists looking to become entrepreneurs.
